Schools

The Town of Kingfield is a member of the MSAD/RSU #58 School District and  the home of the Kingfield Elementary School. The public elementary school is considered a high performing school and open for students kindergarten through eighth grade.

High school aged students attend Mount Abram Regional High School in nearby Salem Township.

MSAD/RSU #58 School District is comprised of Kingfield Elementary, Phillips Elementary, Strong Elementary and Mount Abram High School.  Many students from  unorganized townships and plantations are enrolled into our schools.

 

Maine Mountain Children’s House is a non-profit Montessori School, with an after-school care program for elementary-age children.  Offering a 5 full days, 5 half days, 3 full days, or 3 half days in a Montessori environment. To the north in Carrabassett Valley is Carrabassett Valley Academy a private school at the base of world renowned Sugarloaf Mountain Resort.
